Purpose of the Role

To ensure the Centre is a safe, welcoming and pleasant environment for customers and retailers, and the common areas are maintained in such a way that all rubbish is removed regularly, and machine washed daily, including; cleaning all internal and external low level glass, clearing spillages and dusting surfaces. To ensure any accidents and/or incidents are reported and a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

Must be flexible as needs to cover site teams annual leave when required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refuse collection from waste bins.
2. Removal of all food and liquid spillages.
3. Cleaning toilets.
4. Removal of black marks from tiled areas.
5. Dust control mopping.
6. Removal of dust and debris by suction cleaning
7. Machine stripping and scrubbing.
8. Machine scrubbing of tiled areas.
9. Undertake regular inspections of the Centre as instructed by the Centre Manager.
10. Carry out duties in accordance with instructions issued by Centre Manager.
11. Comply fully with the Health & Safety Policy for the centre.
12. Ensure that the requirements of the Fire regulations are strictly complied with.
13. Ensure that the Rules & Regulations of the Centre are complied with at all times
14. Ensure that the centre is a safe and pleasant environment.
15. Assist with enquiries from the public as required
16. Be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company
17. Holiday relief when other operatives use annual leave.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Previous Cleaning Experience

· Experience and knowledge with working with chemicals

· COSHH

· Manual Handling

· Experience with using floor cleaner

Working Hours - Part-time 09:00 – 14:00 Mondays & Thursdays with additional holiday cover

Salary - £12.71ph
