WHAT YOU’LLDO
The Food Runner supports efficient dining service by promptly and accurately delivering prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests. This role serves as a vital connection between the kitchen and service staff, ensuring correct presentation, adherence to guest modifications, and smooth overall service flow.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions whilemaintainingproper presentation and temperature
Verify order accuracy, including completeness, modifications, allergens, garnish, and clean plating before delivery
Coordinate dishes with table numbers to ensure smooth,accurateservice
Demonstrate food, beverage, coffee, tea, and after-dinner drink knowledge, using correct setups and vessels when presenting items to guests
Provide warm, polite, and professional guest interactions while ensuring guest satisfaction during food delivery
Assistwith table maintenance, including clearing plates, resetting tables, and supporting teammates during busy service periods
Perform setup and breakdown duties before and after service, including side stations, water stations, and ice buckets
Restock andmaintainpar levels of water, juices, sodas, and non-alcoholic beverages
Polish silverware and glassware tomaintainservice standards
Help arrange dining room tables, chairs, and sections prior to service tooptimizeguest flow and reservation management

WHAT TOBRING
Successful candidate mustpossesslegal work authorization in United States
The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours adayand scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability isrequired
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card

Ability to stand for extended periods,lift upto 50lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
