Connecting Families is seeking a dedicated Male Disability Support Worker to join our non-profit organisation in Caboolture, QLD.
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and experienced Male Disability Support Worker with a strong background in disability support. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a client to build life skills, access community services, and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalised support plans
Assist with daily living skills and in-home support
Support community access, including transport to medical appointments
Provide mental health support and encourage independence
Assist with social activities and personal care as required
Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
Certificate III or IV in Disability or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience and Skills
Experience supporting clients with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
In-home support experience
Support with daily living and community access
Clear English communication skills
Flexibility
Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and sleepovers
Additional Requirements
Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
National Police Check (via Rapid Screening)
Valid QLD Driver’s Licence (no international licences)
Comprehensive car insurance and vehicle registration
First Aid and CPR certification
Passport or evidence of work rights in Australia

Community Access: We assist clients in attending appointments, shopping, and participating in activities, promoting social inclusion and independence.
In-Home Support: Our team helps with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care, enabling clients to maintain their routines at home.
Respite Care: We offer short-term stays, giving families and caregivers a well-deserved break while ensuring clients receive quality care.
