We are urgently seeking Male Disability Support Workers to join our incredible non-profit organization, Connecting Families, in Griffin, QLD.

📝 Key Responsibilities

Provide support with daily living skills, community engagement, and education/employment assistance.

Deliver mental health support, guidance, and emotional regulation strategies.

Assist with personal care, transport, medication assistance, meal preparation, and social activities.

Maintain accurate case notes and documentation to ensure quality service delivery.

✅ Experience & Skills We Value

Certificate III/IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent experience.

Experience supporting clients with: schizophrenia, ABI, GAD, intellectual and personality disorders, dementia, Alzheimer’s, aged care needs, and incontinence/personal care.

Skills in medication assistance, prompting, redirection, distraction, co-regulation, and emotional support.

Must be available to start ASAP.

Working With Children Check / Blue Card

NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card

National Police Check (via Rapid Screening)

QLD Driver’s License (no international licenses)

Comprehensive car insurance & registration

First Aid and CPR Certification

Proof of work rights in Australia (e.g., passport, visa)

Relevant qualifications (Certificate III/IV or equivalent)
