Male Disability Support Worker – Pennant Hills, NSW

We are currently seeking male Disability Support Workers in Pennant Hills, NSW who can start immediately. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive environment.

About the Role:
You will be supporting a young male client with complex medical and behavioural needs. This role requires someone who is patient, calm, and confident in managing challenging situations.

Key Conditions Include:

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Severe Intellectual Disability

  • Dandy-Walker Syndrome

  • Asthma

  • Epilepsy

  • Bilateral Optic Nerve Hypoplasia

The client may display behaviours of concern, including frustration that may lead to property damage. Ongoing training and support will be provided.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience supporting individuals with complex needs (e.g. intellectual disability, epilepsy, etc.)

  • Has worked with children with disabilities

  • Has experience supporting clients using wheelchairs

  • Is calm, patient, and confident under pressure

  • Has strong de-escalation skills

  • Can be a positive role model

  • Is physically fit and emotionally resilient

  • Can follow structured routines and provide consistent care

  • Is caring, reliable, and professional

Requirements:

  • Certificate III (or higher) in Disability, Community Services, or similar

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check

  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check

  • Experience working with high-needs clients

Shift Details:

  • Sunday & Monday

  • 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
