Right at Home Solent is an Outstanding CQC-rated home care provider supporting older people and vulnerable adults to live safely and independently in their own homes across Southampton.
We are currently looking for a Male Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
Important
Previous experience working as a Care Assistant is essential.
This role is suitable for someone who has worked in domiciliary care, residential care, nursing care, or a similar care setting.
What we offer
£14.80–£16.59 per hour on weekdays
£15.30–£17.15 per hour on weekends
35p per mile mileage allowance
Paid training before you start (£230)
Minimum 1-hour visits – no rushed calls
Regular local clients and consistent hours
Funded NVQ qualifications

What you’ll be doing
You will visit clients in their own homes and support them with:
Personal care
Medication support
Preparing meals and drinks
Companionship and conversation
Light housekeeping and shopping
Helping clients remain independent and safe at home
What we’re looking for
Male Care Assistant
Previous care experience
Kind, reliable, and compassionate nature
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
