Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd is looking for native Malay speakers based in Malaysia to join an upcoming Malay Audio Collection Project for AI data collection.

The task is simple: use your smartphone to record short Malay audio clips, with each recording taking around 10 seconds. You can choose between a Malay-only task or a Malay + English code-switching task.

Project Details

• Location: Malaysia 🇲🇾
• Project period: 18 September – 30 November 2026
• Task deadline: Complete assigned tasks within 48 hours
• Device: Smartphone (iOS or Android)
• Estimated total time: Up to 3 hours for up to 500 tasks
• Payment: USD 8 upon completion and acceptance by the client
• Contributor deadline: 16 November 2026

🎧 Choose Your Recording Option

There are 2 task options available. Contributors can choose only one:

• Malay Language Only — Record audio entirely in Malay
• Malay + English (Code-Switching) — Record audio naturally combining Malay and English

Each task involves a short recording, with an average recording time of approximately 10 seconds per task.
