Job Title: Makeup Brand Manager

Reports to: Marketing Director

Deparment: F&B

Abouth the role:

As a Brand Manager you will lead the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives for makeup, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in brand management, product development, and team leadership. The Brand Manager will be responsible for enhancing brand equity, driving sales growth, and ensuring the brand’s long-term success in the marketplace.

Strategic Brand Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the brand’s long-term strategy, including market positioning, target audience, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead the brand’s vision, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels.

Product Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee the entire portfolio ensuring the right management and strategies between makeup categories (face, eyes, lips, nails) to warrant the leadership of the brand in Mexican market and the success of every launch.
  • Strong communication with Global, S&OP and Sell In areas to management the OOS from global, aligned the sell in strategy every month and with every client and a deep analysis of slow movements of makeup items in POS, guaranteeing as a team that all stores have stock enough to reach their sell out quotas.

Market Analysis and Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and consumer analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and brand positioning.

Sales and Retail Strategy:

  • Partner with sales and retail teams to develop strategies that drive in-store and online sales.
  • Monitor retail performance, ensuring that the brand is effectively represented and that sales targets are me

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Manage the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve maximum impact.
  • Track and report on financial performance, adjusting strategies to meet profit and revenue goals.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a strong team for makeup with a strong link with the marketing coordinator and national MUA, hand in hand with field coach area to develop strong, impactful, and innovative marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as trade marketing, sales, finance, training, visual merchandising to ensure cohesive brand execution.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, agencies, suppliers, and retail partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships that benefit the brand and support its growth objectives.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in brand management, with a focus on beauty or cosmetics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, excel & power BI.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a brand, including product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the beauty industry.
  • Experience with international brand management and global marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of luxury beauty market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and their impact on brand perception.
  • Fluency in English & Spanish is a must have, French is a plus.
