Job Description

We are seeking a responsible individual with hands-on experience in residential maintenance and general building upkeep to ensure residential facilities remain clean, safe, functional, and well maintained. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of routine maintenance tasks including general repairs, sanitation and waste disposal, and day-to-day upkeep.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential maintenance or a related field
  • Experience in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and plastering is preferred.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, identify maintenance needs
  • Respond to repair and upkeep requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Valid NY or NJ driver’s license and own vehicle required for daily work
  • Ability and willingness to drive an agency van as needed

Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan, sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and health insurance. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements. This full-time opportunity involves working at multiple residential locations throughout Boro Park and Flatbush.

Salary: $24.00 per hour
