NOW HIRING: MAINTENANCE/BACK
OF HOUSE MANAGER
Botswana (Delta)
Permanent | Live-in Role


A unique opportunity is available for an experienced
Maintenance/Back
of House Manager
to oversee and maintain essential camp infrastructure and
support systems across a luxury bush operation.


This role is ideal for a technically skilled, hands-on
professional who thrives in remote environments and takes pride in maintaining
operational excellence behind the scenes.


Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and service electrical systems including solar plants, generators,
and sewage treatment plants
• Oversee water systems including boreholes, pumps, and wells
• Monitor water quality, levels, and usage regularly
• Manage preventative maintenance across all back-of-house areas
• Ensure equipment is fully operational and well maintained
• Oversee maintenance projects from planning through to completion
• Manage maintenance budgets, including monthly and CAPEX planning
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and camp management
• Ensure accurate administration, stock control, and maintenance records
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise guest disruption

Requirements


Requirements:


• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical background
• Valid Driver’s License and Professional Driving Permit (PRDP)
• Proven experience managing maintenance in remote environments
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills

Preference for Motswana nationals
