Examples of duties

  • Performs various unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance and/or repair work at Henderson Golf Course.
  • Performs physical labor, works in close areas, bends, and walks great distances.
  • Uses and maintains hand tools and drives a truck with an attached trailer.
  • Performs regular chemical herbicide applications to the course and maintains records of work activities.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Completion of eighth grade.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Must provide and wear approved steel toe protective footwear during regular working hours.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on a golf course.
  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred for promotion eligibility.
