Job Description

Scope of Position:

  • Follows established paperwork procedures to establish, maintain, track and complete jobs.
  • Assures accuracy, timely completion of work as directed, and information listed on job cards or work orders.
  • Determine best possible maintenance practices and uses good techniques and judgments in work assignments.
  • Report issues of a reportable nature to supervisors immediately.
  • Trains and monitors new employees as requested.
  • Observes facilities, machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
  • Dismantles or constructs facilities, machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part.
  • Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock.
  • Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction.
  • Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
  • Uses welding skills as needed.
  • Performs all preventative maintenance.
  • Perform and complete electrical work and assignments with or without electrical drawings.
  • Running electrical circuits, bending conduit, wiring into breaker boxes and switch gear.
  • Running and bending copper to connect rectifiers.
  • Conduct preventive/ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting on rectifiers.
  • Compliance with all Arc Flash standards.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
