Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. is actively searching for a Maintenance Technician- Trainee. This is a 2 year training program on how to perform all of the preventative maintenance and repairs on the equipment used in our manufacturing process. A high school diploma is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Typical Functions for the Maintenance Tech Trainee include:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Mechanical aptitude
General computer skills with a preferred understanding of Microsoft software.
Preferred Knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing of medical devices preferred.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Hand and power tools
Measuring tools
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures. Ability to work in a team environment, but maintain individual drive. Driven by customer satisfaction.
Physical Demands:
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Vision Requirements:
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
