We are currently seeking a skilled Painter/Maintenance Technician to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our campus.
In this hands-on role, you will help ensure that resident apartments, common spaces, and building systems remain in excellent condition. $23 – $27 per hour
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What You'll Do:
As a Painter/Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining our campus by:
- Repair drywall including patching, finishing, and painting.
- Repaint and refresh vacated apartments to prepare them for new residents.
- Maintain the appearance of interior walls, ceilings, and surfaces throughout the community.
- Perform touch-ups and cosmetic repairs in common areas, offices, and resident rooms.
- Perform preventative maintenance and general building repairs.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural maintenance tasks.
- Complete assigned work orders and maintenance projects in a timely manner.
- Conduct inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Follow all safety procedures including emergency preparedness and fire safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for maintenance emergencies (approximately once per month).
- Work respectfully and professionally with residents, visitors, and staff.
- Provide excellent service while working throughout the community.
Job

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of professional painting experience
- Valid Maryland Driver’s License
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
- General maintenance skills including drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or building maintenance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Genuine respect and compassion when interacting with older adults
