As a Residential Handyperson, we call Property Engineer’s (PE), you’ll be the face of AA, representing our values and commitment to residents and the community. Residential Maintenance Technician – Milwaukee, WI

$26–$35/hr · Guaranteed 40 hrs/week · $0.76/mile vehicle / gas reimbursement · Quarterly performance bonus

The deal, up front:

• Guaranteed 40 hours — if the work orders run short, we pay you anyway
• $0.76/mile covering gas + vehicle wear (you drive your own truck or van)
• Quarterly bonus tied to your performance — your bonus is math, not politics
• Dental 100% covered for you AND your dependents
• Health 90% covered for you day one, 100% you + 50% dependents from year two
• Tool reimbursement
• 2 weeks PTO to start, growing every year to 3
• Top of the pay range goes to EPA Universal + strong plumbing crossover

The job:

Multi-trade tech for single-family rental homes across MKE — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and turns. Work orders route to your phone; you run your metro home to home with real autonomy. We call our techs Property Engineers, and we're hand-picking a small team of the best in each market.

What you'll work on:

• HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA 608 work if certified — it bumps your rate)
• Plumbing: water heaters, drains, leaks, fixtures
• Electrical: outlets, switches, breakers, GFCI, fixtures
• Carpentry, drywall patch and paint, doors, locks, smoke detectors
• Appliance repair and swaps
• Turns/make-readies between residents — repairing and lightly renovating homes at pace
• Inspections, securing homes, vacancy/wellness checks, move-in/out meetings
• Photo documentation in our app (iPhone/iPad)

What you need:

• 3+ years multi-trade maintenance experience (apartment, SFR, or trades background)
• Confident in at least 3 of: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances
• Own truck or van + own hand tools (reimbursed + $0.76/mile)
• Valid driver's license; on-call ready ([frequency]); background check
• Big plus: EPA 608 Universal , experience turning homes at volume.
