Job Description

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician for third (3rd) shift during production season to support our Grand Rapids, Ohio site.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support day‑to‑day plant operations and capital projects
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and seasonal maintenance activities
  • Maintain plant shop, tools, equipment, and facilities
  • Ensure proper setup, calibration, operation, and upkeep of machines
  • Support Process Safety Management and site safety initiatives
  • Complete fabrication and improvement projects
  • Perform grounds and facility maintenance as needed
  • Maintain accurate equipment records, prints, and PM plans
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical systems (24VDC–480VAC)

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Comfortable working at heights above 25 feet with required fall‑protection equipment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willing to work in warehouse/plant environments and perform hands‑on work
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willing and able to work overtime and shift schedules, including weekends
  • Valid driver's license

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of production agriculture equipment and machinery
  • Basic understanding of building electrical systems and process control
  • Welding and/or millwright skills (seed industry a plus)
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • 2+ years of industrial electromechanical education and/or hands‑on experience
  • Experience using a CMMS (e.g., SAP) for work orders and parts inventory
