Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for either a Maintenance Technician 3 or Maintenance Technician 4 to join our team! This position will be located on site in Iuka, MS. This position will follow a 4/10 A-shift Schedule (7:00AM – 5:30PM).

Job Duties:

  • Aid in performing mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment.
  • Perform routine mechanical/electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment including but not limited to CNC machines, Boilers, Fiber Placement Machines, Robotic arms, Auto claves, Ovens, HVAC, General electrical and lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Bridge Cranes. Personnel vehicles, building systems, etc.
  • Will be working in a team environment and processing Work orders with our CMMS systems as they come to you.
  • Be able to examine issues with machines and processes, define corrective actions necessary, and implement actions with the team.
  • Be self-motivated.

This position may be filled as either a level 3 Maintenance Technician or a level 4 Maintenance Technician.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3 Maintenance Technician:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of Facilities Maintenance experience.
  • Computer (including Microsoft office), math, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance and SAP clearance.
  • Must have an ability to work A-Shift (Monday-Thursday 7:00AM - 5:30PM)

Basic Qualifications Level 4 Maintenance Technician:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of Facilities Maintenance experience.
  • Computer (including Microsoft office), math, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance and SAP clearance.
  • Must have an ability to work A-Shift (Monday-Thursday 7:00AM - 5:30PM)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 years in Maintenance or maintenance related field.
  • Technical Degree or some college.
  • HVAC experience
  • Automation controls experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $83,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $59,400.00 - $99,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
