Maintenance 1 line mechanic that maintains property, plant and equipment in a productive, efficient and safe manner.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot repair and maintain production line equipment.
  • Performs the Preventative Maintenance Program as well as Corrective Maintenance established by the company.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues within Plant equipment.
  • Utilizes welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair and fabricate processing equipment.
  • Performs and documents in a timely manner equipment inspections, adjustments, and lubrication.
  • Is able to work within the company Maintenance repair records system (Emaint CMMS).
  • Participates and contributes to company safety program including LOTO, Hot Work Program, and Confined Space as defined by EHS program.
  • Work closely with Operations maintaining a team environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line mechanic, maintenance mechanic, or industrial mechanic preferred.
  • Experience working on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, or production machinery.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge.
  • Capable to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends or overtime when needed.
