The Maintenance Technician II plays a critical role in ensuring the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of our property. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repairs, responding to service requests, and contributing to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.)
- Preventative maintenance program
- Regular inspections of common areas, grounds, and apartment units, identifying and addressing maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and service requests in Entrata.
- Complete/assist and inspect unit turns
- Maintain organized maintenance areas and inventory control
- Curb Appeal
- Communicate with supervisor, residents, property management, and leasing staff to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and a high level of resident satisfaction
- On call rotation
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of property maintenance or related experience
- Ability to work on-call rotation
- Working knowledge of maintenance tools, safety procedures and general repair practices
- Strong trouble shooting and resident relations skills
