Position Highlights
Normal working hours are weekdays 8am to 430pm. Employee will serve approximately one weekday overnight shift per week. Weekday overnight duty consists of staying until 5pm, being on call from 5pm to 7am, and starting work at 7am the following morning. Employee will serve approximately one weekend shift every six weeks. Weekend duty consists of working 7am to 330pm, and being on call from 330pm to 7am both Saturday and Sunday. Employee with weekend duty will have preceding Friday and following Monday off. Employee will be responsible for one rotating holiday per year. Holiday duty follows the weekend duty work and on call pattern. When employee is on call, they must be able to be at the Hospital within 15 minutes of being called. Employee is paid an hourly rate for on-call time, as well as differential compensation for time worked in the evening, overnight, on weekends, and on holidays.

A Brief Overview
Performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and major component overhaul on the facility structure, equipment and grounds, and fixtures to include refrigeration and air conditioning systems, electrical and plumbing, mechanical systems, boilers and chillers. Responsible for the operation, testing, and inspection of boilers and equipment in the facility complex.
