This role is on-site in Mesquite, TX. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides the U.S. military and its allies around the world, an extensive range of weapons systems needed at all levels of strategic and tactical operations. For ground forces, we manufacture heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, crew-served weapons and munitions of all calibers. As well as family of lightweight vehicles for expeditionary and special forces. We produce weapons systems and ammunition for U.S. Navy shipboard applications. For airborne platforms, we produce weapons for fighter aircraft, including high-speed Gatling guns for all U.S. fixed-wing and rotary military aircraft.
