The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance work across all facilities, property, and equipment. This role requires strong trade knowledge, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the capability to support larger projects while maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. Starting Pay: $24.00
Perform advanced general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, systems, and equipment throughout the property.
Maintain, repair, and replace equipment related to the gaming floor to support continuous casino operations.
Test, monitor, and maintain building systems including HVAC, alarm systems, generators, lift stations, and grease traps.
Perform skilled trade work including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, and related maintenance projects.
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the life of facilities and equipment.
Assist with diagnosing equipment and system issues and recommend effective repair solutions.
Support maintenance projects by reading and interpreting blueprints, permits, and diagrams as directed.
Order and utilize tools, parts, equipment, and chemicals in accordance with department procedures.
Identify and report safety concerns and ensure work is performed in compliance with all safety standards.
Maintain a professional, friendly, and service‑oriented attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
Maintain working knowledge of property facilities and entertainment offerings to assist guests as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on experience in multiple trade areas, such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or welding.
Minimum of two (2) years of building or facilities maintenance experience.
Valid driver’s license required
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Proficient in verbal and written English.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to read, write, and understand work orders, instructions, and safety documentation.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment appropriate to the role.
Ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
Strong attention to guest service and the needs of team members.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in a fast‑paced, interruptive environment.
Ability to work throughout all property facilities, including occasional confined spaces.
Ability to work in environments exposed to hot and cold temperatures, variable weather conditions, fumes, and maintenance‑related chemicals.
Ability to work in an active casino environment with moderate noise levels.
