Ovation Communities is seeking a motivated, skilled Maintenance Technician II to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. In this role, you’ll perform repairs, maintain equipment, complete work requests, and support preventive maintenance programs—all while contributing to a culture of excellence and safety across the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizes and oversee the day to day maintenance requests to make sure the building and equipment are in working condition.
- Responds to work orders in a timely fashion.
- Performs corrective and preventative building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
- Conducts field checks of buildings to analyze and identify potential trouble areas.
- Inspects and performs routine preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
- Complies with department, State and Federal safety and compliance regulations.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.  Associates degree in construction sciences area very desirable.
- At least three (3) years experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Competent in multiple maintenance areas: plumbing, drywalling, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.  Competent in using variety of hand tools and other equipment associated with maintenance and construction trades.
- Basic computer skills and ability to understand schematic and construction blueprints.
- Read, write and speak the English language.
