The Maintenance Technician ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and facility equipment. The role spans troubleshooting, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, calibration, and facility system support (HVAC, power, utilities). The technician collaborates with Production, Engineering, EHS, and Facilities teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and maintain a safe working environment. The role requires sound technical judgement, adherence to safety procedures, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and condition monitoring of both production and facility systems.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning, utilities connections, and tooling preparation.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS systems and follow documentation standards.
• Assist in spare parts management, vendor coordination, and arranging external service activities.
• Perform routine facility maintenance (HVAC, power systems, building areas, safety systems such as sprinklers).
• Identify deviations, safety risks, quality concerns, and improvement opportunities, escalating when required.
• Follow site procedures, safety standards, environmental guidelines, and operational policies.
• Participate in training, skill development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical knowledge of mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work under time‑sensitive conditions safely.
• Vocational/technical certification in engineering, mechatronics, automation, or similar.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
• Familiarity with Lean, TPM, or Six‑Sigma methodologies.
• Certifications such as forklift, EPT, man‑up, or aerial work platform are advantageous.
• Experience with facility systems (HVAC, power distribution, fire protection) preferred.
