As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated material handling equipment, ensuring our customers' operations run safely and efficiently.

In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform inspections and preventive maintenance, replace components, and collaborate with both on-site teams and remote technical support to deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse equipment at customer sites.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Repair, replace, and reassemble machine components following established procedures and safety standards.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs), equipment audits, and document findings through detailed service reports.

  • Test equipment after maintenance to verify proper operation and identify additional repair needs.

  • Read and interpret work orders, technical documentation, and maintenance specifications.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring necessary materials are available for maintenance activities.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company and customer standards.

  • Collaborate with remote technical support teams to resolve equipment issues and support warranty cases.

  • Provide customers with basic operational and maintenance guidance when required.

  • Work closely with fellow technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues and continuously improve equipment reliability.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery, conveyor systems, or automated material handling equipment.

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues independently.

  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

  • Associate's Degree in Maintenance Mechanics or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Experience with automated warehouse systems, conveyors, or material handling equipment is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for documenting maintenance activities is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a customer-facing environment.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment, including working at heights, lifting up to 51 lbs, and working rotating shifts, evenings, or weekends as needed.

Physical demands:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 51 lbs

  • Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and mezzanines.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with elevated temperatures, humidity, and high noise levels.

  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye, face, and respiratory protection.
