Job Description

Company Background:
Our client is a Malaysia-based food manufacturing company specializing in bakery and pastry products. The company provides Halal-certified OEM solutions, offering a wide range of products from raw dough to ready-to-serve items. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and food safety, our client supports businesses in the food and hospitality industry by delivering consistent and efficient production solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of production machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns in production lines
  • Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and equipment
  • Ensure all machines are operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
  • Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage
  • Support production team in machine setup and changeover when required
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and safety risks
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of tools, equipment, and maintenance area
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with company SOPs and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP)

Job Requirements (JR)
  • Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic or related technical field
  • 1–3 years of experience in maintenance role (food manufacturing or FMCG preferred)
  • Fresh graduates from technical/TVET background are encouraged to apply (training provided)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting
  • Able to read technical drawings and equipment manuals is an advantage
  • Hands-on, practical, and willing to work in production environment
  • Able to work on shift, weekends, or standby when required
  • Basic understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environment
  • English and Bahasa Malaysia required
Salary Range: RM3k - RM5k
