The General Maintenance Technician makes repairs to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, tube and plumbing systems. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as assigned or otherwise required.
Responsibilities
Requirements/Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or GED. Technical training in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and/or plumbing.
· Licensure / Certification: Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.
Experience Minimum one year experience in repair/maintenance boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and/or general maintenance.
· Effective Communication Skills
· Ability to function with minimum supervision.
· Ability to read blueprints.
· Ability to read control drawings pertaining to temperature control systems.
· Knowledge of basic computer applications.
· Physical demands including working in 100+ degree environments, lifting objects up to 80 pounds, and work at heights of 20 feet or more from ladders.
· Must have a valid Ohio drivers license.
