JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on all equipment to insure productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years’ experience
Ability to work the designated schedule inclusive of overtime
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Ability to read blueprints
Understand how machinery works, including mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment
Reliable transportation
Committed to working safely, including a commitment to the policies and procedures required for the job.
Positive attitude; good team player
Can work independently
Willing to learn when new experience is needed
QualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machines
Maintaining equipment/machines and keep awareness when equipment/machines needs attention
Responsible for daily checks on equipment that is consistently in operation
Respond to machine failures by diagnosing the issue
Perform diagnostic tests and check performance to catch potential issues
Maintenance on machines as necessary
Observe necessary safety precautions
Crosstrain on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed
Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and stack objects 15 to 20 lbs.
Work involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing ladders and staircases
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, rain
