Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) knowledge and a valid Electrical Licence (Authorisation A or B) The role involves maintaining building systems, electrical installations, and plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, motors, panels, lighting, controls).
• 
  Diagnose and repair electrical faults in line with REWS and OHSA regulations
• 
  Carry out testing, inspection, and certification of electrical systems.
• 
  Maintain mechanical systems and support repairs as required.
• 
  Keep accurate maintenance records and reports.
• 
  Liaise with contractors and suppliers for planned works.
• 
  Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• 
  Participate in on-call or emergency breakdown duties when required.

Requirements

• 
  Valid REWS Electrical Licence (A or B)
• 
  Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MQF Level 3 or higher).
• 
  Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or building services.
• 
  Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• 
  Knowledge of HVAC, BMS, or industrial systems is an asset.
• 
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
