Thisenergetic, self-directingindividual, as part of theMaintenance team, willbe responsible fora variety of functions related to electrical controls, equipment, and wiring in our plant. The work may involve testing, troubleshooting,installationand repair ofthe electricalcomponents. In addition, they read and interpret blueprints and specifications, as well as remain current on electrical code specifications for the area.
This position reports tothe Maintenance Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Running electronic tests and inspections, cleaningcontactsor circuit boards, ensuring systems are grounded and installing outlets, lightingfixturesand switches.
Preventative measures such as oiling motors, bendingconduitand replacing old wiring.
Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
Responsible for calibrating and checking instruments.
Respond quickly and professionally to emergency situations.
Perform routine maintenance on productionequipment, andperformrepairon them when necessary.
Wire machines and electrical panels in line with prints.
Evaluate and make recommendationsregardingrequired repairs and maintenance.
Support customers by effectively interfacingwith customerandofficein repairing equipment as needed.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned bythe Maintenance Manageror Company management.
Travel Requirements:Less than 10%
RequiredQualifications
High school diploma orits equivalentrequired.
Licensed Electrician with two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field isrequired
Must haveat least1year of proven experience working as an electrician in an industrial environment.
Must haveexpertisewith PLC controls
Strong mechanical,electrical,analyticaland solution driven skills
Experienceand proven capability withautomation,andconveyors, as well as reading measuring devices and blueprints.
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Mustbe able to workwell andcommunicate clearlywith all levels of personnel whether individually or in a teamenvironment andespecially must be able tointerfaceand communicate with line operatorsin order toassistwith repairs and troubleshooting
Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial/manufacturing setting
Understanding ofand adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
Must successfullyestablishemployment eligibility and satisfactorily complete backgroundchecks, andrequiredpre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
