Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dependable and service-focused Maintenance Technician to support guest room calls, preventative maintenance, and general repair needs throughout the resort. This role is responsible for responding promptly to maintenance requests while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is hands-on, team-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a luxury resort environment.
Responsibilities
• Respond to guest room maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, appliances, doors, locks, and fixtures
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas
• Complete work orders and document repairs accurately
• Support general maintenance projects across the resort property
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering shop and work areas
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and resort procedures
• Assist other departments and engineering team members as needed
• Participate in emergency response procedures and after-hours calls when required
Qualifications
• Previous hotel, resort, apartment, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• Valid driver’s license preferred
