Job Description

Essential Functions of the Position

  • First and foremost, you will be representing the Bryant Real Estate brand in the field when working on our owner's homes - you must have top-level customer service skills and be a strong representation of our brand when in the field.
  • Ability to adapt to new and difficult situations is a must. A willingness to learn is valued.
  • Responsible for completing work-orders, move-out inspections and addressing tenant needs.
  • The bulk of the work will revolve around effectively troubleshooting tenant complaints on the home's maintenance items, resolving them or referring to an outside vendor, and following up to ensure the issues are resolved and documented correctly.
  • Work to ensure owners and tenants needs are met and homes are maintained.
  • Be a self-starter and able to hit the ground on day one after software systems training.
  • Work with owners to maintain and update their properties – in concert with assistance from property managers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively and in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Solid multi-tasking skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to work holidays as the business requires (40 hours/week)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance along with a positive attitude, be a team player and be willing to learn.
  • Technical background on general home maintenance is valued but not required.
  • The skills and knowledge of carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and locksmith skills will be developed as you gain experience and develop with the team.
  • This position will require that you provide common tools; specialty tools will be supplied or purchased by the company when approved.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Physically you can anticipate to:

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and exert 50+ pounds of force. Use your arms and legs. Frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching, and twisting.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability
