About The Opportunity

The person in this position conducts minor maintenance on the interior and exterior of building and grounds and communicates issue to the maintenance manager and/or area supervisors, and maintains a productive, safe and clean work environment.

Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures

2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines

3. Change light bulbs and fixtures

4. Cut and install filter material for the air filtering system

5. Change ceiling tiles as necessary

6. Perform general painting duties

7. Perform general construction duties (repair/install walls, hand doors, fix door knobs or locks, etc.)

8. Install, inspect safety equipment/supplies (i.e., eye wash stations, hearing protection dispensers, first aid boxes, etc.)

9. Proactively communicate problems encountered to applicable areas, and discuss maintenance concerns with maintenance manager and/or lead

10. Enhance internal and external department communication toward creating and maintaining a cohesivework environment

11. Assist with maintenance projects as needed

12. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements

13. Complete scheduled work orders

14. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

6. Demonstrated ability to apply basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles

7. Technical knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment

11. Attentive to detail & accuracy, looks for improvements to work processes and takes advantage of tools & resources, finds root cause to quality problems
