Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to the facility.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, hourly position offering competitive compensation, as well as medical, dental, and vision benefits and exclusive resort discounts.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, and repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Cleans and repairs pools and fountains
• Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing and electrical systems continue operating properly.
• Obtains services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.
• Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical:

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• Lift 25-50 lbs. (for specific positions)
• Sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
• long hours standing and/or walking
• Unusual working conditions: May be scheduled nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime; may work indoors or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions; working with wet/slippery floors, sharp objects, fumes and electrical equipment

Work Environment:

Duties are performed in indoor and outdoor settings. Will be exposed to extreme hot and cold weather, wind, dust and noise.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in related field preferred.

Grooming & Uniform:

• Must have good presentation skills and meet grooming standards
