Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) is currently seeking a dedicated results driven Maintenance Technician in our North Windham, CT location. FRL is the global leader in reprocessing of melt processable fluoropolymers, as well as the distribution of virgin fluoropolymer resin. We are a dynamic and flexible company on an aggressive growth trajectory, offering products and services to multiple industries in global markets as we continue to innovate and invest in production capability and people.
Position Summary: As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility to include; all manufacturing process equipment, warehouse equipment, and office area. You will be responsible for all mechanical
and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
· Troubleshooting plastic shredding, grinding, blending, extrusion, and other machines and processes.
· Defining parts that need to be ordered after troubleshooting is complete.
· Maintain inventories of tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
· Requisition tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
· Ability to read and understand machine drawings, building prints, electrical and plumbing schematics.
· Develop preventative maintenance program for all equipment & facility related equipment.
· Perform equipment installations as required and defined by Engineering.
· Have experience in welding, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and working with process controls.
· Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility.
· Operation of forklift and scissor lift as required.
