Maintenance Technician
Shift: Nights M-Th 4:00pm-3:30am, voluntary Friday OT
Salary: $25.00/hr-$35.00/hr + shift premium

Maintenance Technician Role
The Maintenance Technician ensures maximum uptime, safety, and reliability across all manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure. This position exists to perform proactive maintenance, rapidly diagnose equipment variations, and keep production lines operating at peak performance.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, electrical systems, and facility structures according to established schedules
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize operational downtime
• Inspect, clean, calibrate, and lubricate machinery components to maintain system accuracy and prevent premature wear
• Identify and replace worn or damaged parts before equipment failure occurs
• Conduct detailed diagnostic tests to isolate variations and implement lasting solutions
• Partner with machine operators and maintenance teammates to solve technical issues efficiently
• Assemble hydraulic components and repair electrical apparatuses including wiring and transformers
• Document maintenance inspections, equipment repairs, and parts replacement within the computerized maintenance system
Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships
Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role has no direct reports.
About You
• Possess four years of hands-on technical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree or technical certificate in Industrial Maintenance is preferred
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety instructions
• Maintain proficiency with shop math including fractions, decimals, and standard calculator functions
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders and track asset records
• Possess or maintain eligibility for OSHA Forklift Operator certification
• Hold or show willingness to earn specialized certifications in welding, electrical systems, or HVAC

The employee must be able to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds and work comfortably in a noisy and potentially hazardous industrial environment. Additionally, they should be capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods. During job duties, the employee may also need to sit, stoop, kneel, climb, or balance occasionally. They must frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, a risk of electrical shock, and high, precarious places. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment features loud noise levels due to moving mechanical parts.
