We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various facility systems, ensuring optimal operation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment.

  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations including fire, power outages, and utility leaks
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and maintain detailed maintenance records
  • Conduct preventative maintenance procedures according to established schedules
  • Identify and report major repair needs or system upgrades to management
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards
  • Maintain organized documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; trade school graduate or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to read and interpret technical materials, schematics, and blueprints
  • Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and perform maintenance tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with emergency response procedures
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards
