Join Associa as a Maintenance Technician and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our managed properties. We are seeking a reliable individual with a passion for ensuring a safe and well-maintained living environment for our residents at one of our beautiful community in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Hourly pay rate: $18.00 - $20.00 (according to experience)

Work schedule: Full-time. With one week being Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and the following week being Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Our Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and the value of their properties by:

  • Assisting the lead Maintenance Technician in daily duties
  • Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
  • Maintain grounds, common areas, pools, and building appearance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients
  • May be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of directly related or closely related experience
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate, climb, and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.
