At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Electrically and Mechanically Biased Technician to join our Maintenance Team, predominantly supporting our Materials Manufacturing Facility as part of a dedicated team of multi skilled Technicians. The Maintenance Team is a vital part of our Production Facility, ensuring that the equipment is serviced to schedule and breakdowns are resolved quickly.
This facility manufactures compounds from raw materials which are then used in our production process in our wire and cable facility and also sent to other sites worldwide, we use large mixers, twin screws, extruders etc. as well as other ancillary equipment such as chillers, driers, cutters etc.
You will need to react to unscheduled problems with equipment and be able to diagnose complex electrical AND mechanical faults with minimal support. You may also need to move from one machine to another and back again where production priorities dictate.
The successful candidate will need to support, coach and mentor our apprentices and
help them gain the experience they need for their courses. Following a training period, you will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision.
