Trinity Health Highland Haven/Meadowview Independent Living Senior Communities is dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards in our facilities. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Highland, MI, who is experienced in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC.

This position is a 247 on call position.

Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4 pm shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and some general grounds maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential problems.
  • Ensure compliance and safety and building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
  • Work with external vendors on getting appropriate bids for larger scale projects.
  • Assist with ordering general supplies needed for the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent technical certification in maintenance or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
