Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician:

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? The Prince George Hotel is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain our hotel to the highest standards.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, from preventative upkeep to repairs, ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and guest-ready at all times.

What You'll Do:

• Perform general maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Maintain interior and exterior areas to a high standard of appearance
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to avoid breakdowns
• Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests from all departments
• Complete renovations and in-house repair projects as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and organized manner
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and potential risks
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with guests and team members
• Continuously build skills and knowledge through training opportunities

What You Bring:

• Previous maintenance or building maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems and carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety and maintaining high standards
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and on-call if required
