Job Description

TITLE: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Operational Support

REPORTS TO: Facilities Supervisor

SUPERVISES: N/A

STATUS: Nonexempt

SCHEDULE: Full Time (40 hours per week)

FUNCTION: The Maintenance Technician maintains the operations of the building, ensuring all codes and policies are meeting required standards. Responsible for cleanliness of the facility and monitoring that all areas are maintained within acceptable standards. Assists with maintenance requests, assuring processing, scheduling and completion of requests are performed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to conduct job duties in a professional manner. Must possess the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Must possess an appreciation for and the ability to embrace the Mission of The Salvation Army.
  • Must always maintain a professional demeanor
  • Must meet The Salvation Army requirements to drive Salvation Army insured vehicles
