Benefits:
Responsible for assistance in maintaining aspects of the physical plant. Conducting, under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs; maintains safe working environment and assists other department employees as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
2. Receive service requests and response in a timely manner.
3. Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
4. Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
5. Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
6. Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
7. Assist, during winter, with snow removal efforts as necessary.
8. Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where appropriate.
9. Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
10. Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
11. Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
12. WHEN QUALIFIED, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
13. Maintain exterior and interior of all buildings.
14. Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Personal computer
General equipment: printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, telephone, calculator, cell phone, assessment tools (i.e. medical equipment)
Rotohammer, table and band saw, welder (3 kinds), hoist, pullers, assorted hand tools, laminate trimmers/routers, pneumatic tools, drills, saws (chop, table, circular, worm drive, band and jig), HVAC test equipment, drill press, and grinder.
