We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Tennalum team in Jackson Tennessee at our aluminum extrusion plant!

• Starting pay is dependent on experience and evaluation.
• The pay range for the job is $29.48 - $41.79 per hour.
• Pay increases are earned through a Pay-For-Skill Point System.
• In addition, we offer a monthly bonus based on plant performance metrics and attendance.
• Maintenance Techs perform the following tasks, as well as others deemed necessary to support the mission of the plant:
  • Monitors all equipment to ensure reliability.
  • Troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Reads ladder logic and function block logic to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Participates in the preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, 5S, and Equipment Improvement Teams.
  • Completes work orders in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Identifies and reports opportunities for improvement of PM's and Parts Inventory Control.
  • Applies Lean Manufacturing tools & principles in daily maintenance activities.
  • Documents spare parts usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical circuits and machinery.
• Working knowledge of electricity, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Must possess a good compliment of maintenance hand tools.
• Must have good attendance record and stable work history.
• Needs to have a positive attitude with solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be flexible to work different hours/shifts as required (could be working 12 hour rotating shifts).
