Allied Plastics is growing, and we are searching for a driven, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our passionate team in Wilmot, WI. This Maintenance Technician role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems, keeping equipment running efficiently, and making an impact every single day inside a busy thermoforming manufacturing facility.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your maintenance, electrical, and manufacturing experience to troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support production in a continually growing operation. The ideal Maintenance Technician enjoys working in a high-energy environment, responds quickly to challenges, and is willing to be on call when needed. This Maintenance Technician position offers the opportunity to work alongside a great team that values passion, growth, and teamwork.
Available Hours:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Monday - Friday
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Sunday - Thursday
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand 480V 3 phase Operation and able to run diagnostic testing.
- Understand and troubleshoot control circuits including 110V AC, 24V DC, relay and ladder logic.
- Clean, lubricate, inspect and test machinery & equipment.
- Diagnose and repair machines and equipment visually and audibly.
- Check vacuum pumps and air compressors.
- Check ventilation system in plant for negative air flow.
- Install new parts into defective machines.
- Repair electrical connection issues on machines.
- Perform preventative maintenance work daily.
- Inspect band saws, fire extinguishers, fire pumps, roof top exhaust units, bench grinders and other related machines/devices.
- Basic knowledge on usage of tools and equipment.
- And other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- 1+ year of electrical maintenance experience
- 2+ years of maintenance within manufacturing
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Comfortable standing 8+ hours daily
- Comfortable working in warm/hot manufacturing environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
