Join Our Team as a Mill Maintenance Technician!

Are you a problem-solving pro who loves keeping things running smoothly? Didion Milling, Inc. is looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our awesome team. If you enjoy diagnosing and fixing machine malfunctions, hitting equipment uptime targets, and providing top-notch industrial maintenance support, this is the job for you!

Available shifts:

  • M-F 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm with on call rotation requirements

Compensation: $30-$40 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide reliable maintenance support for the our team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Work on and maintain essential equipment, including:
    • Basic electrical systems and electrical test equipment
    • Pumps, boilers, and air compression systems
    • Conveyors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts
    • Motors and bearings
    • Valves, piping systems, and instrumentation
    • Welding and fabrication tools
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions, make repairs and adjustments, and rebuild components as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for improvements to boost productivity.
  • Commit to continuous learning through certifications and training, with a clear path toward becoming a Senior Mill Maintenance Technician.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Technical school certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in a dry food manufacturing environment is a bonus.
  • Must have and maintain your own basic hand tool sets (wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, socket set, pliers, hammer, etc.).
  • Basic electrical systems knowledge and intermediate welding skills preferred.
  • General computer competency: Proficient in typing, using web browsers, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software.
  • Fluent in English for effective communication with team members.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in noisy, dusty, hot, and cold environments.
  • Lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights over 20 feet.
  • Enter confined spaces safely.
  • Communicate using a 2-way radio.
