Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of apartment, residential, or related maintenance experience required
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance
• Ability to participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation
• Must have basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents ( make-ready / turns)
• Perform preventive maintenance and property inspections
• Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas
• Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Assist with inventory and maintenance supplies
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and participate in on-call rotations
