Must be able to work independently as necessary
· This position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations.
· Install, troubleshoot and repair equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills, industrial carpet printers, HVAC, pumps, motors, etc.
· Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
· Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary
· Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
· Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility
· Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
· Keep work area and tools clean and orderly

The late Emmett Hart established Mountville Mills in 1963 in a small building just outside of LaGrange, Georgia. Hart worked at Callaway Mills for 15 years in the design and development departments before starting his own company with the encouragement of his wife, Nancy.

Mountville Mills first expanded by joining forces with The Andersen Company in Dalton, Georgia in 1999. In 2008, Mountville acquired the North American business unit of Kleen-Tex Industries, Inc. In 2018, the textile rental division of Mountville Mills and The Andersen Company merged to form M+A Matting which serves both U.S. and Canadian customers.
