Job Description

3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

Location Elkhart, IN

Starting Pay Range $25–$35/hr.+ (based on experience)

Schedule 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expect 40–50 hours/week

Responsibilities

As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by handling:

  • Preventive maintenance Regular inspections and service on equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
  • Breakdowns Fast, effective repair response
  • Troubleshooting Diagnose issues using schematics, multimeters, blueprints, and tools
  • Repairs Motors, conveyors, belts, pipefitting, steam/water systems
  • Safety Follow strict protocols (LOTO), participate in audits

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills are a must
  • Proactive, organized, and safety-minded
  • Strong communicator with a sense of urgency
  • Willing to work occasional Saturday mornings for preventive maintenance or projects
