About Eakin Healthcare

Fifty years ago, Eakin Healthcare started with one man’s mission: pharmacist, Tom George Eakin. He saw his patients struggling with leaking urostomy pouches and decided enough was enough. He got to work and formulated what would become the game-changing, eakin Cohesive® seal.

Fast forward to today, and we’re still keeping it in the family. We’ve grown a lot since then, both organically and through acquisitions. Now we’ve got you covered with a range of medical devices across our therapeutic areas of Ostomy, Respiratory and Surgical and our delivery service, Respond.

Our vision is to improve healthcare outcomes for people by delivering trusted solutions in focused therapeutic areas within our chosen global markets.

>Ostomy - We manufacture and supply high quality ostomy pouches and skin friendly accessories to hospitals and end-users in the community in more than 30 countries, including our flagship product, eakin Cohesive® seals.

Our award- winning discreet ostomy home delivery and nursing service, Respond, operates throughout the UK.

>Respiratory - We manufacture innovative products for use in anaesthesia, respiratory and critical care including AquaVENT® heated humidified circuits. Our respiratory products for both adult and neonatal patients are highly regarded in the UK, US, Europe and South America.
